Eyes – so deep at a moment, so cold the next!

Look – so soothing at a moment, so contemptuous the next!

Word – so comforting at a moment, so scornful the next!

Thought – so pleasant at a moment, so disturbing the next!

Wish – so generous at a moment, so selfish the next!

Touch – so warm at a moment, so ugly the next!

Concern – so genuine at a moment, so plastic the next!

Feeling – so pure at a moment, so hostile the next!

Friendship – so satisfying at a moment, so superficial the next!

Love – so true at a moment, so devastating the next!

Life – so livable at a moment, so despicable the next!

A question of a moment, either this one or that…

The moment now and the moment then, all one and the same…

I live to live all such moments, option neither have I now, nor had then…

A simple mind and a simpler heart, in duel they are now, as they had been then….

A lonely soul standing apart, watching the drama now, as it had done then…

A life as stupid now, dumb as it was then…

“I EXPECT” it is now, and “I EXPECT” it was then…

Neither will I make it now, nor had I got it then…

Unspoken as I am now, unheard as I was then…

Granted for as I am now, unasked as I was then…

Morose as I am now, shall not be but again….

Gleeful shall be the life now, neck-deep it may be in pain…

Ignorance has been bliss now; forgiveness shall be the same…

Karma pulls the hope upright now, hope shall clean all disdain…

Noble giver as I strive to be now, true lover I shall be again!
